"This hotel is great if you love to ski or snowboard. It is located right at the bottom of the slopes which makes it very convenient. The ski rental is located in the first floor of the hotel and from there the ski lift is only a few 30ft away. right next to the rental office they have a bar and food area with live music! they also have night skiing, only one section is open for this and it runs for about 4 hrs before is completely shut down. The food in the hotel is average, nothing crazy. They also have a shuttle that takes you to certain stops in town, so you really don't have to drive, just tip the driver. " great reviews - map

"By any standard of measure, Chateau Chaminox is a gem. Extraordinarily clean, comfortable and roomy with a balcony running along the length of the unit and a large dining and living area in the center. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more responsive to ensure that we enjoyed our stay to the max. "A group of us gathered from all over CO to celebrate a friend's 50th b-day. It began when Zeke at the front desk gave us a very warm and genuine welcome and even provided a run down on who had already arrived. The condos were immaculately clean, updated and well appointed which made an extremely comfortable home base for the weekend. Great sense of place. Lots of thoughtful touches - from a well stocked kitchen to plastic cups for the pool and hot tub, to the community gas grill, to the carts in the covered garage to complimentary WIFI." great reviews - map

"It was our first time in Steamboat and it was magical. The B&B is in such a beautiful setting. It is a very peaceful, warm and welcoming place to stay. We were made to feel so welcome. The weekend I spent in Steamboat at the Victorian B&B was the highlight of my two weeks in Colorado.
Breakfast was delicious and happy hour in the late afternoon/early evening was a nice touch. I've not come across that in a B&B before so it was a lovely surprise." great reviews - map
